The Erawan Shrine houses the Hindi God Thao Mahaprom or The four faces Buddha. The shine is located at Ratchaprasong Intersection, near Chidlom BTS Station and The Amarin Plaza.
Every day thousands of people come to this shrine to plead success of career path, fortunes and fulfilling dreams from the Hindu god Brahma, the four-faced golden statue. To satisfy God, people usually make offerings to adorn him; it could be foods and fruits or, Thai or Chinese performances.
Erawan Shrine is opened every day from 6.00 a.m. to 0.00 a.m. Free entry for every one.
From Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit, you can reach Erawan Shrine by taking BTS Sky Train from Asok station to Chidlom station, 3 stops from the hotel. Then, walk to the shrine which is about 100 metres away.
