Wat Traimit, also known as Temple of the Golden Buddha, located at the junction of Traimit Road and New Road, near the Chinatown. The temple is famous for the Golden Buddha, hosted on the 4th floor of the secondary chapel. This Golden Buddha image makes from pure solid gold that weighs more than 5.5 tons, and considered as one of the biggest images of Buddha in the world by The Guinness Book of World Record.

Wat Traimit is opened every day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Free entry for the temple. A proper dress code required.
From Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit, you can reach Wat Traimit by taking MRT underground train at Sukhumvit station to Hua Lamphong railway station. Then, walk to the temple which is about 500 metres away.
