Another favourite with locals and tourists, MBK Center is one of the most-visited shopping malls in Bangkok. Intrepid shoppers head there to hunt for a wide range of local products including clothes, bags, jewellery, furniture and handicrafts. MBK (Mahboongkrong) is probably best known, however, for its 4th floor containing an almost overwhelming number of mobile phone, camera and gadget shops; there’s a mix of official dealers and resellers as well as second-hand shops, with prices negotiable at the latter.
MBK Center also houses Tokyo department store in addition to a cinema, large food court and many other dining options.
The mall is at Patumwan intersection and connected by walkway to BTS SkyTrain – National Stadium Station, five stops from Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit.
